Jessica & Glen

Dear Family and Friends, 

November 2014 marks the four year anniversary of our meeting. What began as an epistolary friendship soon became a loving relationship. We connected over a mutual passion for music, art, outdoors, and travel. It was serendipity - we had both journeyed separately to Africa and India, played the clarinet badly as children, are avid art collectors, and have close-knit relationships with our families.  We became engaged on a beautiful fall afternoon at a mountain overlook in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.

Glen attended the University of Texas (burnt orange flows in his veins), and Jessica attended Davidson College (red and black forever), a special time where we developed strong life-long friendships. Both hailing from Texas, we have pursued careers in the health sciences, which has respectively taken us to Austin, San Antonio, Zambia, and Washington D.C. We currently reside in Washington D.C. where Glen is a healthcare consultant and Jessica works at a global humanitarian non-profit. In our free time you will find us trying new restaurants and craft cocktail bars, going to music festivals, and exploring on foot all that the capital city has to offer. 

Our four years together has been filled with much joy, including making great friends, global travel and fulfilling careers. We look forward to what the future holds in our new life together.
